After you have logged in, Maptitude Online Redistricting displays the Plan Manager dialog box with a list of your existing plans. You can also click Plan Manager on the menu bar to display the Plan Manager dialog box You can open, copy and delete existing plans, and you can create a new plan. You can also log out from Maptitude Online Redistricting; for more information, see "Logging In and Logging Out."
You can create a new plan by using an empty plan or by copying an existing plan.
When you copy a plan, Maptitude Online Redistricting copies all of the plan settings to the new plan and copies the district assignments. As part of this process, it creates a set of redistricting plan files using the new plan's name.
To Open a Redistricting Plan
Highlight a plan in the list.
Click Open.
Maptitude Online Redistricting saves the plan and sets up the windows and the toolbox for online redistricting.
To Create a New Redistricting Plan Using a Template
Click New Plan to display the Choose a Starting Point for Your New Plan dialog box.
Highlight a plan with From Empty at the end of the name.
Click Create.
Maptitude Online Redistricting saves the plan and sets up the windows and the toolbox for online redistricting.
To Create a New Redistricting Plan Using an Existing Plan
Click New Plan to display the Choose a Starting Point for Your New Plan dialog box.
Highlight a plan with Current at the end of the name.
Click Create.
Maptitude Online Redistricting opens the plan and sets up the windows and the toolbox for online redistricting.
To Copy a Plan
Highlight a plan in the list.
Click Copy.
Maptitude Online Redistricting makes a copy of the plan with the next sequence number at the end of the name, adds it to the library, and sets up the windows and the toolbox for online redistricting.
To Delete a Plan
Highlight a plan in the list.
Click Delete. Maptitude Online Redistricting asks if you are sure.
Click Yes.
Maptitude Online Redistricting deletes the plan and returns to the Plan Manager dialog box.
