You can select map features to add to the target district directly from the map, using the selection tools in the Redistricting toolbox. Maptitude Online Redistricting lets you select map features by pointing at them, by dragging a rectangle or a circle around them, by drawing a shape around them, or by drawing a line through them. By default, when you select features by dragging a circle or by drawing a shape, Maptitude Online Redistricting finds the map features that are inside or touch the shape that you define.
As you select map features the changes are shown in the Pending Changes window. You can expand and scroll the window as necessary to see the affected districts.
To Select Map Features with the Selection Tools
Make sure that the target district, source district(s), and selection layer settings in the Redistricting toolbox are correct.
Click on one of the selection tools in the Redistricting toolbox to activate it, and use it as described in the table below:

If you want to clear
the selection set so that no map features are selected, click in the Redistricting toolbox. Return
to Step 2 to select other map features.
Maptitude Online Redistricting selects the map features and highlights the result on the map, and updates the Pending Changes window. Any source districts that have pending changes are shown after the target district.
